ANNEX I: REVIEW OF SOME NGOs IN CAMBODIA


A study on some NGOs in Cambodia was carried out by a local team from Punleu Pich Consultants, Phnom Penh. Emphasise was on local organisations working in line with the objectives of RETA 5771. The aim was to get an understanding of their capacity and interest to cooperate with the RETA 5771.

The total number of environmental and development NGOs included in the review was 88 of which 70 were local NGOs and 18 international organisations. A letter of introduction, project description and a questionnaire form to be filled in was sent to all. Information was received from 19 organisations, of which 17 were Cambodian organisations and two international..
