Watershed Management Resource Kit now available online
The Watershed Management Resource Kit was compiled by the Watershed Management Project (WSMP) of the MRC-AIFP programme in 2007. It mainly supports the capacity building efforts of the WSMP by providing watershed management practitioners with the technical information they need to implement Watershed Management. The Resource Kit is a comprehensive introduction into the conceptual and practical aspects of watershed management complemented by a collection of resource materials from various sources. It has been adapted to the South East Asian context by a group of riparian and international experts on natural resources and watershed management and takes account of the various experiences of the WSMP. Its content is compatible with and based on the principles of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)
The Resource Kit was initially released in hard copy and on CD-Rom. Both formats are good for reading purposes, but difficult to update. Therefore the Resource Kit is now available online using a wiki platform, where it can be easily edited by its friends. For reading and printing (a newly installed feature allows you to 'collect' pages and download them as a pdf 'book') of the Resource Kit, please go to:
