9.5.2 Recommendations

a) The implementation of such a land consolidation model as in Lake Limboto may be developed for managing land matters and environmental conservation. This model is felt to be improved for widespread implementation.

b) Construction of check-dam for mud prevention and water reservoir, construction of roads and waterways as well as arrangement of ring-belt or buffer zone based on Spatial Design of Land Consolidation need to be implemented right away with integrated financial sources.

c) Control of lake conservation terms on land use, and land conservation needs to be intensified based on local regulation.
