9.5 Closure

9.5.1 Conclusions

a) Implementation of land consolidation in the Lake Limboto Rim has successfully managed 2,192 land plots covering 1,209 hectare as a result of cross-sector cooperation among government offices, as well as all communities in order for realizing the Four Principles of Land Order which is the key element of the successful management of the Lake Limboto conservation.

b) Through implementation of the project, provision of land for development of public facilities such as ring road, access road, lake line, buffer zone, and so on may easily be carried out. This necessary portion is taken from 15% land contribution.

c) The area of Lake Limboto is a strategic one, which has been burdened with heavy environmental destruction so that it needs integrated and conception management by implementation such land consolidation program in the Lake Limboto. It is believed that deep water resources and its supply for surrounding can be maintained. Meanwhile, sea water intrusion can be prevented and land tenure administration can be done in order to realize the Four Principles of Land Order.
