8.6 Conclusion

From previous discussion, it can be drawn some conclusion as follows:

  1. Agricultural land consolidation can be viewed as the concept of development model, where by the community actively participate by giving land contribution based on deliberation result for public facilities.
  2. Although agricultural land consolidation will increase efficient utilization of land, as well as increase environment quality, regular utilization of land in line with the principle of landuse: sustainable, optimal, balance and harmony.
  3. For local government agricultural land consolidation will case development planning of public facilities and utilities, main road, and so forth.
  4. Landowners in the area of land consolidated will be benefited from the increase of production and land value result from constructed access road and irrigation network.
  5. During the implementation of agricultural land consolidation in Timbulun village, there have been found some problems, although it is can be handled after all.
  6. From agricultural land consolidation result in Timbulun Village, it can be provided some paddy fields with irrigation covering 98 ha. along with its facilities.
