8.3.5 Extension

Extension is meant as to reach a broader understanding concerning the purpose and goal, as well as the advantage of land consolidation for the community, more specifically for the landowners in land consolidation area. Besides, the extension is undertaken in order to draw a common idea of the officers at level II Administration which in turn they will be more responsible for respective task during the implementation of Land Consolidation.

The extension is directly carried out by Coordinating Team to land consolidation participants which subject is related to land consolidation activities that need land contribution for developing public facilities and utilities, and land consolidation benefit as well.

It is common that an extension is undertaken after selection of the area. Having the community understood the purpose and goal of land consolidation, then the agreement or consensus among participants is formulated in written expression. The result of extension for land consolidation activity in Timbulun village is highly achieved reaching 100% of participants who sign the agreement on the implementation of land consolidation.
