8.2.4 Condition of Site Before Land Consolidation

The land consolidation area of 100 ha lays in Timbulun village. Before the project, in 1992/1993, its land use is paddy field in natural or bad drainage. The farmer grew paddy field once a year.

Out of 100 ha area, 70 ha area are irrigated, whereas another 70 ha is supplied by village irrigation. The production of rice before implementation of land consolidation was 2 tons per hectare per harvest season.

In the site, there was a waterway of 750 m.
