6.1.2 Land Status

Previously, land status in Rawa Sragi was a forest area, and then by the decision letter of Minister of Agriculture dated March 6, 1981 No. 1. 208/Mentan/III/1981 was decided as forest area to be used as implementation of Rawa Sragi project.

By Minister of Internal Affairs i.e. Dir. Gen. Agrarian, Rawa Sragi was, decided as land which is directly handle by the State and established as Landreform object.

Decision of Minister of Internal Affairs i.e. Dir. Gen. Agrarian was chronologically established step by step as follows:

Decision Letter dated April 8, 1982 No. SK. 56/DJA/1982 covers land ± 6,400 ha, so called as Rawa Sragi I project.

Decision Letter dated June 29, 1983 No. SK. 133/DJA/1983 covers ± 10,574 ha, so called as Rawa Sragi II project.

Decision Letter dated December 19, 1983 No. SK. 271/DJA/1983 covers ± 5,026 ha, so called as Rawa Sragi III project.
